This audio piece is constructed of found footage from the episode ‘Eye of the Beholder’ from the Twilight Zone, which the artist has have appropriated in the context of today’s isolation. The episode follows the story of a woman with a bandaged face amid plastic surgery who cannot see, nor can the audience see the other characters faces’. She expresses longing for acceptance and to reunite with the outside world, which we can resonate with as she reflects on her memory of the clouds. This audio piece also touches on questioning positions of authority and control, and the mundane, as the end repeats the beginning; when will we be free and reunite with the outside world?
